The big story of the day is Ford’s unveiling of the 2015 Mustang coupe. But the topless edition of America’s best-selling muscle car wasn’t totally absent from the day’s festivities.
Ford tweeted out a single photo of the ragtop edition, above.
Later, Ford held media events in several cities to reveal the new ‘Stang, and in New York, teased the press by rolling out a grey ragtop edition alongside the coupes. Little was said about the convertible, but the official press release from the event mentioned, “Mustang convertible drivers will appreciate the standard multilayer insulated cloth top that gives the car a more upscale appearance and a quieter cabin. The new top lowers twice as fast as before, and has a sleeker profile when folded for open-air motoring.”
We expect more detail later this month, as Ford spreads out the reveal to make the most of a slow media time.
